How are you all doing? I have been really busy with my toddler’s online classes, homework, keeping her engaged and not to mention her tantrums. I am glad the COVID cases have gone down in Hyderabad so at least we can roam around on weekends with masks on and of course social distancing.
After the lockdown, we all stayed at home for a long time with little exposure to outside environment. I started facing hair fall despite having good and healthy diet. After trying few remedies, my mom shared this homemade hair oil with me that really helped in controlling hair fall. Before sharing the recipe, I would like to say staying under sunlight for few minutes everyday also plays a major role in curbing hair fall. I keep changing my hair oils but when I face see clusters of hair in my comb or bathroom drain, I start using this oil and it works wonders for my hair. Here we go!
Ingredients:
- Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (I use my favorite Shesha Extra Virgin Coconut Oil)
- Fresh aloe Vera gel (I cut a leaf, wash it properly, cut the skin, take out the pulp, wash it and blend it in mixer grinder)
- Vitamin e oil (I use Evion vitamin e capsules)
Method:
I prepare this oil fresh every time!
Mix all the three ingredients and apply it on your hair 3 hours before hair wash. I take the quantity as per my hair’s length.
Coconut hair oil alone doesn’t suit my hair but using it with other ingredients works wonders on me. This is tried and tested hair oil that I have been using since 2 years whenever I face hair fall.
This hair oil not only helps in hair fall but also removes dandruff and itchy scalp.
