NaturZest Vanilla Lip Balm Review

With the changes in seasons, I literally faced dry skin and chapped lips last month. This month, I changed my ski care routine and products and believe my skin is in top condition and lips are soft and smooth. Let’s give credit to my soft and moisturized lips to NaturZest Vanilla Lip Balm*. I have been using it for more than a month and it has been my favorite since the time I am using it.

I have always loved natural and organic products and NaturZest is the best example. Their products do not contain nasty ingredients and are free of chemicals and preservatives. The lip balm comes in a small, sturdy, cute and clear plastic pot with a black screw top lid. As soon as the lid is unscrewed, you will find a sturdy plastic white inner lid that protects and keeps the lip balm in place (though the lip balm stays in place and does not melt!). Upon removing the inner lid, you will be greeted with a smooth, beige colored lip balm with a yummy aroma of vanilla. The scent is very yummy and won’t bother sensitive noses. The pot is quite small yet sturdy and can be easily carried around in a bag without any hassle. The lip balm is a clear lip balm and the scent fades away really soon.

The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture with creamy (not overly so) consistency. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. It does not release clumps and feels smooth on the lips. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip balm doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, supple and nourished instantly without leaving a sticky residue behind. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms. I love the yummy and delicious scent whilst application that fades after few minutes. It heals and repairs dry and chapped lips within a week of continuous usage.

The lip balm is quite moisturizing and contains Kokum butter, virgin coconut oil and vanilla flavor oil. It leaves my lips soft and smooth especially at this time of the year when my lips get really dry and chapped due to less intake of water. I also love using it as a base for lipsticks with dry texture.

PROS:
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Though the texture is not buttery but still it feels very smooth on lips.

  1. I like very much the ingredient list and your presentation but this kind of balm is not among my favourite because I can use it only at home or where I can wash my hands.
