Hyalugel Review

If you have crossed your 25, you must include anti age if ingredients in your skin care regimen and one of them is hyaluronic acid. It keeps skin moisturised and wrinkle free. Hyalugel is again a product of Ethicare Remedies. I had already reviewed Hydrofil Emollient Cream and Sebogel. They both are very effective on the skin. After trying Hyalugel* for almost a month, I am now ready to review it.

Price- ₹250 for 30g

Hyalugel comes in a white cardboard box packaging with all the information written on it. The actual product comes in a white squeezable plastic tube with a sky blue screw top lid. Both the outer packaging and the mouth of the tube comes sealed so you are assured that it is a new product. The packaging is quite light and compact and perfect for traveling. The gel is clear with no scent.

The gel has to be used after cleansing your face. I just take a small amount of gel and apply it on my face and neck. It gets absorbed almost instantly without leaving a sticky or greasy residue behind. It does not give any tingling sensation and feels extremely light on the skin. It is a bit drying and I make sure to apply a separate moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated. It creates a smooth canvas on your skin so can be used as a primer too. It keeps my skin moisturized and healthy looking. Though I haven’t seen any major difference in my skin but it does make skin look healthy and young.

PROS:
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Lightweight gel.
  • Gets absorbed quickly without leaving a sticky feeling behind.
  • Non comedogenic thus safe for acne prone skin.
  • Makes skin look healthy and young.
  • Acts as a primer.
  • Reasonably priced.
  • Fragrance and color free!
  • Hypoallergenic!
  • Suits all skin types!

CONS:
  • Contains parabens.

Overall Thoughts:
Overall Hyalugel is a decent anti ageist gel that keeps skin healthy, even and young looking. I didn’t notice any major difference in my skin. If you have crossed your 25 or 30 then you must incorporate hyaluronic acid in your skincare regime. It is a budget friendly product that keeps skin in good condition.

My Tips:
  • Use it as a serum as it is not very moisturizing.

  1. Tried this. Yet to see a difference in skin quality. It would have a bit more reassuring to see the concentration of HA in the gel.

  2. It has perfume in its ingredients. So fragrance must be there.
Will it suit on acne prone skin? And does it have any effect on blemishes ?
