Sebogel Salicylic acid and Nicotinamide gel Review

Happy Makar Sankranti everyone. May this festival light up your life for the entire year. Let me tell you about my current skin condition. It’s slightly cold in Hyderabad and my skin has geared towards dry category but I do face pimples and acne. On my visit to Kerala, I did get few pimples on my face due to less intake of water and unhealthy diet. It was HUMID in Kerala so that might also be a reason. I took Sebogel with me and yes after trying for more than 3 weeks I can say it WORKS!

Price- ₹220 for 30g

Sebogel comes in a white cardboard box packaging with all the information written on it. The actual product comes in a white squeezable plastic tube with a white screw top lid. Both the outer packaging and the mouth of the tube comes sealed so you are assured that it is a new product. The packaging is quite light and compact and is perfect for traveling. The gel is clear with no scent.

The gel has to be used after cleansing your face. I just take pea sized amount of gel and apply it on my acne and blemishes. It gets absorbed almost instantly without leaving a sticky or greasy residue behind. It does not give any tingling sensation and feels extremely light on the skin. It is a bit drying and I make sure to apply a separate moisturizer to keep my skin hydrated.

I had already mentioned in my previous posts that I occasionally suffer from acne. Since the time I have been using Sebogel, my skin is becoming clear and whoa pimples that I get to my poor lifestyle subsided to a great extent. The gel lightens the redness and reduces the size of the pimple within a day of using it. It can be applied 2-3 times daily but I use it twice a day. It contains salicylic acid, nicotinamide gel, aloe Vera, vitamin b3 that are extremely good in treating pimples and acne. It does show visible difference with regular usage and I am truly happy that my pimples subside at a rapid pace. It lasts really long as I need only a pea sized amount each time. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. A MUST HAVE for acne and pimple prone skin!

PROS:

• Good texture.
• Easy to use.
• Gets absorbed easily.
• No scent.
• Shows visible difference with regular usage.
• Lightens redness in a day.
• Controls and soothes pimples.
• A must have for pimple prone skin.
• Contains salicylic acid and nicotinamide gel.
• Suits oily and acne prone skin.
• Non comedogenic.
• Travel friendly packaging.
• Reasonably priced.

CONS:
• Might work slowly on full grown pimples.q

Overall Thoughts:
Overall I use Sebogel whenever I feel pimple or acne is occurring. It does not make it huge and ugly and combats within a day or two. If you have oily or pimple prone skin then go for it.

My Tips:
  • Use it twice a day to get optimum results.
  • Use it only on pimples or acne or redness.
  • Don’t forget to follow it up with a moisturiser.
  • Don’t let the pimple get huge, apply it as soon as you feel pimple is popping.

  1. In this season I have a rather dry skin just like you but I never had acne problems. My instead has an oily skin and he uses products containing acetalisilic acid just like this one. I like your review, the priceless tips and considerations, very useful for anyone looking to buy cosmetic and skim care products.

    1. No dont use 2 actives together!!!

    2. Actually Hyaluronic acid (Hyalugel) can be used with any skin care products. It's just a moisturizer rather than any active ingredients. So your routine would be Cleanse - Sebogel - Hyalugel - Moisturizer - Sunscreen
Hyalugel has larger molecules so Sebogel can't be absorbed property if you apply Hyaluggel before Sebogel. Thanks!
