Just Herbs Liquorice Shea Lip Butter Balm Review

Just Herbs Liquorice Shea Lip Butter Balm
Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was great. I did a little shopping for my home and spend a good time with Mr MBT! With such a terrible heat outside, its so difficult to head out of the house before evening. Despite drinking lots of water, my lips are prone to dryness and lip balm is one such thing that I tote along with me everywhere!

Just Herbs recently launched a new lip balm- Just Herbs Lip Butter Balm that comes in various variants. I had tried only few Just Herbs products and all were pretty effective. Their products are very mild yet effective. I got this lip balm in my February 2016 Fab Bag. It costs Rs 345 and you can buy online on their website or on Fab Bag.

I wish I got the golden packaging! I love gold!
The formula is very soft and silky!
I have always loved natural and organic products and Just Herbs is the best example. Their products do not contain nasty ingredients and are free of chemicals and preservatives. The lip butter balm comes in a tub packaging which is slightly unhygienic for me as each time I use it I had to make sure I have clean fingers. I got the packaging with black lid as opposed to the golden one shown on their website. The lip balm is made from certified organic beeswax, certified organic cold pressed oils of Avacado, Safflower and sweet almond along with ultra moisturizing Shea Butter. It provides hydration to the parched lips and liquorice root extract helps brighten dull and dark lips. It is filled to the brim so you get a whole lot of product.

The texture of the lip balm is slightly oily but gets absorbed pretty quickly. The lip balm provides instant relief and hydration to the lips. I totally loved the scent of the lip balm. I think it smells of shea butter and it smells yummy. I never forget to sniff it each time I use it. As I told you my lips are getting dry and rough even in this hot weather, I feel this lip balm moisturizes my lips well but the effect does not last long. I need to reapply it after every 2 hours even if I don't drink or eat. What I liked about this lip balm is it does not feel waxy or heavy and is great to keep your lips smooth before lipstick application. You do not need to wipe off your lip balm to apply lipstick! It's only 2 weeks since i am using it and I have not noticed any lightening of my lips.

- Keeps my lips soft and smooth.
- No waxy or greasy feel.
- Smells yummy!
- A little goes a long way!
- Provides instant hydration to the lips.
- Lightweight packaging.
- No parabens or mineral oils!

- You need to reapply it multiple times.
- Price!
- Tub packaging looks unhygienic to me!
- No lightening of lips!

Overall Thoughts:
Just Herbs Liquorice Shea Lip Butter Balm is a moisturizing lip balm that instantly hydrates dry and rough lips. It smells yummy and contains no parabens or mineral oils. The only con is its effect is not long lasting and I need to reapply it multiple times to keep my lips soft and nourished. If you love hoarding lip balms and hates waxy and heavy formulas then I would recommend this to you!

Rating: 4/5

My Tips:
- Apply a thick layer of Just Herbs Lip Butter Balm at night time.
- Exfoliate your lips once or twice a week.
- Always use clean fingers to take out the lip balm!
