Derma Roller System Review

Derma Roller System Review

After looking at Derma Roller, the only thought that came to my mind was “who will use this torturous device?” Though I was pretty scared to use this device but I gathered courage and used it on my scalp. I have quite thin hair and have a small patch at the front which is really annoying and I am searching for all means to treat them. Today I am going to review Derma Roller System with 0.5mm needles size.

Derma Roller System Review

Derma Roller System comes in a white cardboard box packaging with all the information written over it. The actual product comes neatly placed in a cylindrical white plastic case with a flip top lid. The derma roller is nicely fitted in a thermacol stand and stands nicely in the case. There is also a leaflet containing all the information related to it.

The derma roller is orange beige in color with drum shaped head and a plastic handle. It comes protected with a clear plastic cap that prevents it from dust or breakage. The head contains lots of small needles and will indeed scare you. As I mentioned earlier, I particularly used this derma roller to treat my thin hair. The needles are 0.5mm in size and can be used to treat skin and hair. They are available in many sizes. Before using derma roller, make sure to wash your hair properly. I then took the derma roller and gently rolled it on the area where I can see hair thinning. Make sure you do it very lightly. Though it does not make you bleed or hurt but it does give a tingling sensation just like when needle is poked in to your skin or when ants sting you. The only key is to do it gently. You just need to roll the skin roller once in one direction and not back and forth. The company has advised to apply Minoxidil 5% after the rolling but I use Grow Gorgeous Hair Growth Serum and massage it gently over that place. After using the roller, rinse it under hot water. To disinfect the roller, pour a generous amount of disinfectant like hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol in a glass and put the head of the roller in it and let it sit for 30 minutes or 1 hour. Remove the roller from the glass and place it on a clean towel. When it is completely dry, put it back in the case.

I use the derma roller twice a week when I wash my hair and though the results are quite slow but yes I can definitely see the tiny sprouts where I have a patch. The derma roller penetrates the serum deeply in the layers and thus helps in hair re-growth. I will update the post after using it for a month or two.

The derma roller can be used to treat wrinkles, acne scars, cellulite, hair loss, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. One of my friends have used the skin roller to treat her acne scars and I could see how smooth and even her skin looks.

Derma Roller System is a hand held device that contains micro needles. I particularly used it to treat my thin hair and I can see visible difference with continuous usage. It does not hurt much if you roll the skin roller with a light hand. My friend used it to treat her acne scars and her skin is now visibly smooth and even. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
