Hydrofil Emollient Cream Review

Though I have normal body skin type but I make sure to hydrate my skin really well. My body lotion gets over within 15 days so I always make sure to keep a stock of it. Ethicare Remedies has a superb body cream in their winter care range- Hydrofil Emollient Cream. If you are suffering from dry skin or want something effective to keep dryness at bay then you got to try this cream.

Price- ₹180 for 100g

Hydrofil Emollient Cream comes packaged in a holographic off white circular tub with a yellow screw lid. The tub has been sealed to ensure that it has not been opened. There is also an inner seal to keep the cream protected. All the information has been printed over the tub. There is a separate sticker at the bottom of the tub showing a detailed list of ingredients. The packaging looks very simple but it is travel friendly.

The emollient cream is white in color. The scent is very mild and pleasant. If you have sensitive nose or are not fond of scented products then this is definitely for you.

The emollient cream is of good consistency with soft, smooth, silky and creamy texture. I simply dip my clean finger to scoop out a small amount of emollient cream. I then massage it over my body especially the dry parts. No excessive rubbing is required due to its smooth consistency. It is easily applied all over the skin and gets absorbed quickly. It feels extremely luxurious on my skin and doesn't leave any greasy residue behind. After application, I don’t feel the need to wash any remaining product from my hands. My skin feels incredibly soft, smooth and hydrated for the whole day (I have normal body skin!). The cream takes good care of the dry parts of the body like elbow, knee and undersides of the feet. It contains lecithin that helps reconstitute the deficient hydrolipidic film of the skin. It also contains aloe Vera, beeswax and vitamin e that leave my skin beautifully moisturized.

The body butter lasts for around 2-3 weeks but it totally depends on how you use it. It is suitable for daily use and I have not suffered any adverse effects while using it.

PROS:
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Velvety texture.
  • Gets absorbed quickly.
  • Keeps skin hydrated the whole day.
  • Very effective for dry skin.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Does not feel greasy or heavy.
  • Reasonably priced.
  • Effective for psoriasis or eczema.
  • Keeps dry parts moisturized.

CONS:
  • None!

Overall Thoughts:
Overall I totally loved Hydrofil Emollient Cream. It is very moisturizing and keeps skin so soft and hydrated. I gives such a luxurious feel to the skin. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

My Tips:
  • Use it after shower.
  • Focus on dry parts like knees, elbows and heels.
  • Do not apply it on your face especially if you have acne prone skin. By the way it is anyways a body cream.
  • Use clean finger to scoop out the cream.

Have you ever tried an emollient cream?

Stay Pretty & Loads of ❤️!
