City Color Bush in Pink Review

Happy Monday MBT friends! Hope you had an awesome weekend! It's super awesome weather here and I spent my whole weekend hugging my pillow (i am the most sleepy person in my family!).

Today I am going to share my review on City Color Blush that I got in my Fab Bag. I am a blush person and to make my face look more defined, I make sure never to skip it whilst doing makeup. I tried searching it online but it is not available anywhere. It costs Rs 500 which is pretty cheap provided it offers 4 colors in the pan.

4 colors in a pan!

A closer look!

Swatch of the 4 shades together

The packaging is very pretty and looks unique among all my other blushes. There is a clear window through which you can look at the shades. It is easier to identify the product in case you hoard many blushes. Pink consists of 4 colors- light pink, medium pink, dark pink and brown. Though each shade is pretty on its own but I use this blush by swiping my blush brush across all the four shades to get a more natural shade. You can see the final shade in the swatch below! It gives such a nice and healthy glow to my face. It does not look fake and looks natural. The texture is soft and blends easily on my cheeks. The pigmentation is medium to full and I particularly love using it with my light hands! I also like using the brown color to contour my face. It is matte and does the contouring job well. The lasting power is pretty good. It stays on my cheeks for a good 4-5 hours. It fades evenly and does not leave patches. I love how healthy and fresh my skin looks after using it. It will look glorious on fair/medium skin tones though the last two shades i.e. deep pink and brown would look beautiful on darker skin tones as well.

PROS:
- Gorgeous and easy to tote along packaging.
- 4 colors in a pan!
- No fall outs.
- Looks very pretty and natural on cheeks.
- Build-able pigmentation.
- Price.
- Good staying power.

CONS:
- No brush or mirror.
- Availability!

Overall Thoughts:
City Color Bush in Pink is a unique combination of 4 shades that look pretty and fresh on skin. It blends in easily and gives a natural flush to the cheeks. The pigmentation and lasting power is good and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Rating: 4.8/5

My Tips:
- Use a cream blush underneath powder blush to make it last long.
- If you feel you have applied loads of blush, apply a translucent powder over it.
- I use fluffy brush to apply my blush but you can use any blush brush that gives a more natural look!

Have you tried City Color blush? Did you find them online?

Stay pretty!

  2. Its a good blush but I might add that it is not travel friendly. I got it as a sample from fabbbag. It arrived intact but broke the first time it was taken in a purse. It didn't fall or suffer impact, just being taken around in the bag caused it to break.
