The lovely author Brittany
Into Fire is a fantasy novel that revolves around a 15 year old girl Leora. She had always seen her bright future in goldsmithing which was her father’s business. She used to work with her father and brother and was skilled in her work. Her life was going smooth until two strangers walked into their home and informed her family that Leora has magical powers and that she needs to be trained to develop and control her magical skills. Her mother dies at young age and was a great mage.

The book describes the journey of Leora with her teacher and the problems and experiences she faced in her journey. Though Leora was always been told by her family to fear magic but Rafael, her teacher, taught her to control and learn it. She was given training every day and she learn and developed her skills pretty fast.

Into fire is one such book that has something new in each chapter. Britanny shows magical powers beautifully unlike with wands and other things. I totally loved the character Leora. She is polite yet frank. She follows her instincts and can do anything for their near and dear ones. She went to a mission bravely to find her missing teacher.

Britanny brings her characters to life by providing them strong and unique personality traits. You get familiar to the characters and you do not have to turn the book to find who was who. Her writing is excellent and the unique and gripping story makes difficult to put the book down. There was not a single chapter that seemed dull. There was something new in each chapter. The book is not thick and I enjoyed reading it. I am looking forward to its sequel.
