Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl in Noble Purple
Recently I bought so many purple dresses and realized that I do not own a purple eye liner. I searched on Flipkart and found this gorgeous dark purple kohl eye liner. Though it is not available online anymore (do let me know if you find any) but I am sure it will be easily available at the counters. Here is my review on Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl in Noble Purple which is worth Rs 325.

Swatch of Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl in Noble Purple
Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl comes sealed in a plastic wrapper with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes in a black retractable eye liner pencil with the purple color pull off lid. I find retractable eye liner pencils quite handy as you do not need sharpen it. The lid of the pencil is same as that of the color of the pencil so it is easy to identify the shade in case you hoard many from this range. You simply need to twist the tube gently to reveal the eye liner. The lid of the liner snaps shut satisfactorily and would not create a mess in the bag while traveling.

Noble Purple is a dark royal purple color with purple shimmers. The liner looks fantastic with both soft and smoky looks. It instantly brightens up my eyes and looks quite subtle and wearable. It looks great with neutral eye shadows. It can be smudged easily to get soft smokey look. Though it can be used as kohl but I avoid using it on my waterline due to the presence of shimmers. Check out Maybelline The Colossal Kohl (reviewed HERE) that is colored kohl for waterline application. I particularly use this Color Show Kohl as eye liner on my upper and lower lash line. It looks really pretty in person and makes me look awake and alive. It has soft and creamy formula (it tends to break if pressure is applied) and glides smoothly and effortlessly across the lids. It gives a neat, true liner of color with just two swipes but can also be layered on to get a dramatic effect. It allows me to define my eyes effortlessly and apply a flick to the outer corners. It sets into a waterproof and smudge-proof finish after application and doesn't budge or smudge till removed. The shimmers present in the liner tend to fall on my cheeks so I always make sure to do my eye makeup first.

The staying power is pretty awesome. The eyeliner stays perfect on my eyes for a good 5-6 hours without smudging. It doesn't cause any adverse effects on my skin. The liner can be easily removed using olive oil or an eye makeup remover.

PROS:
•    Soft and creamy formula.
•    Easy to apply.
•    Great pigmentation.
•    Good staying power.
•    No worries to sharpen the pencil.
•    Smudge proof and waterproof.
•    Travel friendly.
•    Reasonably priced.

CONS:
•    Shimmers tend to fall out on cheeks whilst application.

Overall Thoughts:
Maybelline Color Show Crayon Kohl in Noble Purple is a gorgeous dark royal purple color with purple shimmers. It gives true color in just two swipes and sets into a waterproof and smudge-proof finish. It looks absolutely gorgeous on my eyes but shimmers tend to fall out while application. It is totally worth the price and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Rating: 4.8/5
