Patanjali Ojas Multani Mitti Soap Review

Patanjali Ojas Multani Mitti Soap Review
After trying Patanjali Aloe Vera Soap, I wanted to try out their other soaps (I rarely repeat any soap or body washes again!). Multani Mitti is a must have for me in summers and when I saw lots of Multani Mitti Soaps arranged in stacks at Patanjali Store, I thought of giving it a try. Today I am going to review Patanjali Ojas Multani Mitti Soap which is great if you have problematic body skin or need mild exfoliation.

Patanjali Ojas Multani Mitti Soap comes in a yellow cardboard box packaging with all the information printed over it. The actual product comes sealed in a clear plastic wrapper. As soon as the plastic is unwrapped, you are greeted with a lovely yet slightly strong scent of multani mitti and mogra. The soap is muddy yellow in color and has small grains that are used for mild exfoliation.
The soap feels really smooth to the touch which actually surprised me. With first usage, it feels smooth and glides easily across the skin with slight exfoliation. But with second usage, I can feel the grains that exfoliate my skin but in a gentle way. The grains are all present in the bar rather than on the surface. I simply massage the soap bar on my body skin in circular motions. The grains are not abrasive and do not feel scratchy on my skin. It does its exfoliation job really well. The scent does not tend to intensify and gives a lovely feeling. The soap produces decent lather and removes all dirt and grime off my skin. It rinses away easily and does not leave greasy or sticky residue behind. I was a bit skeptical if it would make my normal body skin dry due to the presence of multani mitti. I use it only once a week and it does not dry out my skin. My skin feels soft, smooth and clean. It makes my skin look polished and healthy. I have normal body skin and I do not feel the need to moisturize my skin though I have the habit of applying it anyways. It does not dry out the skin but make sure you use it only once or twice a week else it would strip off moisture of the skin with daily usage.

I do not exfoliate my skin every day so I use this soap once a week for a smooth, acne free and polished skin. I love using it on my heels, elbows, knees and ankles. It exfoliates really well and makes them smooth. The lovely fragrance lingers with my skin for a good few hours. The soap does not turn soggy or messy in the soap dish which is an added bonus. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it.
