Kamaakshi Rose Water Review

Rose water is a must for every Indian girl. I always make sure to have stock of rose water because it gets over in a jiff. This time I thought of giving a try to Kamaakshi Rose Water that is 100% natural. I loved Kama Ayurveda rose water a lot but it was very expensive so I was looking an alternative. Read till the end to know my complete review on it!

Kamaakshi Rose Water comes in a small dark brown sturdy plastic bottle with a spray nozzle lid. It sprays nicely and you can use it directly over the skin. You can easily carry it in your bag without any fear of leakage or spillage. It is a clear liquid and looks just like water. The smell is not artificial like any other rose water but the one we prepare at home. Though I have read in the other's people reviews that it is very refreshing but I did not find it mesmerizing.

The spray dispenser is what I look for in rose water!

I use it particularly as a toner after cleaning my skin. It instantly gives a nice glow to the skin.  It tightens the skin and adds a healthy look to the skin. It feels cool and nice on the skin. I also use this rose water in my Vitamin C serum to keep my skin healthy and clear. I also love using it as my cleanser. I simply pour some amount of rose water on a cotton ball and sweep it across face to remove all dirt and grime off my skin. You can also use it as makeup remover. Pour equal quantities of rose water and baby oil onto a cotton wool and remove your makeup using it. It does not clog pores and keeps skin hydrated. It can also be used as a setting spray. You just need to transfer it in a spray bottle. If you have tired and puffy eyes then simply place cotton soaked in rose water on your eyes for a few minutes. I also love adding two teaspoons of rose water in my bath to get soft and refreshing skin. It can also be used after waxing and as an after shave. 

Kamaakshi Rose Water is 100% natural rose water and can also be used for hair. In Patanjali rose water I could see very fine thread like particles at the base but this has never happened with this rose water which is an added bonus for me. I have not faced any adverse effects whilst using it. It would suit all skin types.

PROS:

- Does not irritate the skin. can be used by even sensitive skin!

- Travel friendly and easy to use packaging!

- Easily available online!

- Available in 2 sizes!

CONS:

- The smell is not very refreshing! Don't know if it's my bottle only!

- Pricey for the quantity but then it is natural!

Overall Thoughts:

Overall, I find the Kamaakshi Rose Water very natural and effective. It gives a glow to the skin and instantly feel refreshing on the skin. Though I am not fond of its scent but it does not irritate my skin or break it out. 

My Tips-

- Can be used before makeup to get perfect hydrated skin!

- Spray it over makeup brushes to get that healthy glow!

- Works great as a toner!
