Lakmé 9to5 Naturale Gel Kajal Review

I love using kajals and keep changing them after every few months. Lakmé has introduced a gel kajal in its new range Naturale and this is the first time I used a kajal in a gel form. Is it worth trying? Does it smudge? Read my full review on Lakmé 9to5 Naturale Gel Kajal to know how it flares well on me.

Price- Rs 400 for 3g BUY ONLINE

The gel kajal comes in a small clear tub with a rose gold screw top lid. It also comes with an applicator that applies the kajal very smoothly. There is no proper storage in the outer box for storing the applicator so I had to keep it separately with my other brushes.

The formula of the kajal is very soft and smooth and applies easily on the waterline. It is quite pigmented but I have to go over it twice to get that jet black color. It looks really pretty and glamorous on my eyes. It does not irritate my eyes or make it burn. It stays for a good 3-4 hours and after that it starts fading. Thankfully it does not smudge under my eyes. I did not use it as an eye liner but my friend used it and find it really amazing in doing smokey looks.

PRO TIP
- Always wash your brush after each usage!
- If you have oily skin, apply a bit of loose powder underneath your eye area to prevent kajal from smudging! You can use your domed fluffy brush to apply the powder!

PROS:
  • Infused with aloe vera and calendula oil.
  • Lightweight packaging.
  • Soft formula.
  • Applicator is really good.
  • Good pigmentation.
  • Does not irritate my eyes.
  • Makes eyes look attractive.
  • Removes easily.
  • Ophthalmologically tested.

CONS:
  • Fades easily. Not waterproof.
  • No proper storage for applicator.
  • Pricey. Always look for the offer.

Overall Thoughts:
Overall, I love using Lakmé 9to5 Naturale Gel Kajal on everyday basis. It is quite dark and makes my eyes look big and beautiful. It is infused with aloe vera and does not irritate the eyes. I wish the staying power was equally good. I would recommend it college going girls.

Have you tried gel kajal?

  1. It would have been nice if the brush came with a small cap to cover it.
