Faces Canada Butter Up Lip Balm ‘Vanilla’ Review

I admit that I am a huge fan of Faces Cosmetics. I have shopped lots of things from this brand lately and none of the products have disappointed me. Lip balms are a must have on my dresser, makeup bag, study table, bedside and in almost every room of my house. Yes I love hoarding lip balms and keep on trying new ones in the market. When I saw Faces Butter Up Lip Balm ‘Vanilla’ in Faces store and sniffed it I knew I so wanted it. Before using this Vanilla lip balm I had used Lemon version (it smells great too!) of this lip balm and was quite happy with the results. Today I am going to discuss my experience with Faces Canada Butter Up Lip Balm ‘Vanilla’.

Price: 99 INR

Faces Butter Up Lip Balm comes sealed in a cardboard packaging to ensure that it has not been used or opened. The actual product comes in a retractable white tube with a white pull off lid. The lid is quite tight and clicks conveniently without any fear of being opened in the bag. At the bottom of the lid there is a round texture ring which needs to be twisted to reveal the lip balm. It can also be twisted back to put the lip balm back down in the tube. It is a clear lip balm and has got the gorgeous scent of vanilla. I am actually addicted to its smell and keep sniffing the product each time I use it. The scent is subtle and doesn't linger around.

The lip balm is soft and smooth in texture. It spreads and applies smoothly on lips without feeling heavy, greasy or waxy. My lips feel protected and moisturized the moment I apply it on my lips. The lip balm doesn't sit on the surface of the lips but sinks in comfortably. It makes my lips feel soft, supple and nourished instantly without leaving a sticky residue behind. It lasts for quite a long time on my lips but I have the habit of reapplying it anyway. It doesn't have a weird taste unlike other lip balms.

The lip balm is incredibly moisturizing due to the presence of shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, jojoba oil as ingredients. It leaves my lips soft and smooth especially at this time of the year when my lips get really dry and chapped. I also love using it as a base for lipsticks with dry texture. With regular usage, I feel it has reduced the pigmentation on my lips and makes it look more pink and healthy.

Overall Thoughts:
Faces Canada Butter Up Lip Balm 'Vanilla' comes in a sturdy white tube with a tight fitted pull off lid. It has got soft and smooth texture and doesn't feel greasy or waxy on the lips. It absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't just sit on the lips. It smells of vanilla which I really like. My lips feel soft, smooth and incredibly moisturized for a long time. It helps in soothing and repairing dry and chapped lips. With regular usage, I feel it reduces pigmentation on the lips and makes it look pink and nourished. I shall highly recommend it to everyone.
