Rosemary Lipstick Review & Swatches

Recently I came across a local brand that is selling its products in Gujarat for a long time. I have always supported local brands. Being a makeup addict, I was very pleased to try Rosemary Lipstick* which is priced at Rs 30. Yes you read it right. A lipstick worth only 30 bucks! Here is my review on Rosemary Lipstick.

Rosemary Lipstick
MBT says-
When I got my package, I saw disappointed to see the broken cap of the lipstick. I wish they had bubble wrapped the lipstick to avoid breakage. I was being told by the brand that they are in the process of renewing the package. The packaging is really light but I could not carry it in my bag due to the broken cap. There is a sticker at the base of the lipstick that depicts the shade name and number so it would be easy for you to identify the shade in case you are in hurry. I got the Glossy shade.

The lid came broken!
Shade name and number
It looks quite dark in the bullet.

As soon as you open the lid, you will be greeted with a yummy mild vanilla scent. The texture of the lipstick is very soft and smooth. The lipstick can be applied either using a lip brush or directly from the bullet. As it is a dark shade, I prefer applying it using a lip brush for precise application. It applies easily and glides effortlessly on my lips. It doesn't get patchy or gloopy upon application. It does not feel waxy or sticky on my lips. It is very moisturizing and I do not feel the need to apply a lip balm but I do it anyways for smooth application. If you have extremely dry lips, make sure to exfoliate your lips and apply a good lip balm underneath it.  It doesn't feel heavy or greasy on my lips. It glides evenly across lips without bleeding, feathering or smudging. My lips feel soft, hydrated and nourished. The lipstick gives smooth, even and glossy finish to my lips which I really like a lot. It doesn't accentuate the fine lines of the lips. The pigmentation of the lipstick is quite rich and gives true color in just a single swipe. If you have heavy pigmented lips then this product would really stole away your heart. It stays on my lips for 4-5 hours with eating and drinking. When I apply it and blot, reapply it and blot I find it stays for few more hours with Living Nature Lip Hydrator underneath it. Even when the color starts fading, it leaves a beautiful tint behind.

Indeed a very classy shade.

Glossy is a dark Mexican pink color with slightly glossy finish. It does not contain shimmers or glitters. It can be worn at any time of the year. During day time, I apply with really light hands and at night parties I love layering it up. It instantly brightens up my face. It will go beautifully with traditional Indian outfits. It is a perfect party shade and would suit most skin tones.

Rosemary Lipstick is a budget friendly lipstick with great formula, pigmentation and staying power. It is no less than a high end lipstick brand and I loved how beautiful it looks on my lips. I do not feel the need to use a lip gloss over it as it is quite shiny. It looks lovely with my party wear outfits. I would happily recommend it to everyone.
