OPI Nail Lacquer ‘Every Month is Oktoberfest’ Review & NOTD

I am always tempted to try new nail lacquers. I really get bored of using only one shade. I love applying both neutrals and dark shades but wanted to try a dark, vampy shade for a long time. When I saw this shade, I really wanted to give it a try and see how it would look on me. Today I am going to discuss my experience with OPI Nail Lacquer ‘Every Month is Oktoberfest’.

MBT says-
OPI Nail Lacquer comes in a round, clear glass bottle with a sturdy, black screw open lid. The packaging of the nail lacquer is quite classy and elegant. The lid has slightly rough finish that allows easy grip on the nail varnish. The brush is a bit wide and the bristles of the nail polish are soft. It applies smoothly and evenly without brushing along the skin. The nail lacquer can be easily carried around in a makeup bag without any fear of spillage or leakage.

The consistency of the nail lacquer is pretty good. It is neither very thick nor very runny. It applies smoothly over my nails without streaking. I was amazed to see the pigmentation of the nail polish. It delivers good coverage with a single coat and I don’t need to apply coat after coat to get that perfect color (I have the habit of applying two coats anyway. It gives a lovely rich color with a single coat.). It dries pretty quickly ready to be finished with a top coat. The polish lasts for a good 6-7 days without chipping (I don’t do household chores!). The color does not dull down even after 6 days which actually impressed me a lot. It is easy to remove and does not stain my nails despite being a very dark shade.

'Every Month is Oktoberfest' is a dark, vampy inky burgundy purple color with burgundy shimmers. The color is way too dark than it looks in the bottle. It belongs to the Germany Collection released in 2012. It is perfect alternative for dark black shade. It glows when you stand under the sun or lights. It is a perfect shade for fall or winter. It makes my hands look fairer and beautiful. It would look flattering on fair to medium skin tones.
